McCabe's

located on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica , McCabes is the oldest Guitar Shop in southern California. A funky full service stringed instrument shop, McCabe's also features a small concert hall in the rear of the building.

It is about a third the size of the old Ash Grove and hosts a variety of popular performers.

It is graced with a good sound system and lighting. Although some seats are strategically located behind support columns, it is a performers house and possesses the same cozy living room feeling that drew many of us to play at the Garret Coffee House on Fairfax in Hollywood.
